Salamander Collection chose to open their seventh member hotel in 2022 in Washington, DC. It took them years of searching to find the perfect location that combined a luxury guest experience, ample meeting space, and a way to invite the outdoors in. When the former Mandarin Oriental became available, the team jumped at the opportunity to be part of the "new heart of DC" in the Southwest Waterfront area.
